Filming for Killing Eve has been taking place in Margate today, with actors Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw pictured on the seafront.
The stars of the hit BBC TV show were captured on camera by photographer Frank Leppard.
They can be seen laughing and joking in some of the pictures - while in others they are clearly in character.
In one photograph Comer, 28, who plays the deadly Villanelle in the spy thriller, is seen looking on as Shaw, 63, in her role as MI6 agent Carolyn Martens, grimaces.
The filming is for the fourth and final series of the BAFTA-winning show, with the third season having aired last year.
Mr Leppard said: "Watch your backs as Killing Eve's in town!
"Cant wait to see it. Thanks to them all for coming to our sunny Isle."
Comer was wearing a multi-coloured striped short-sleeved top and matching trousers as Shaw was on the sand propped up against a blue American convertible car.
Between takes, the actors sheltered under the hot sun thanks to a large umbrella.
Despite the heatwave and it being 'Freedom Day' when coronavirus restrictions were lifted, the crew from Sid Gentle Films remained Covid-safe by wearing face masks and using hand sanitiser.
Shaw wore a gingham blazer with matching trousers for the scene. Those who looked closely at the photographs said she appeared to have her hands tied.
The last series finished as Eve (Sandra Oh) and Villanelle stood back-to-back on London Bridge and walked away from each other, promising to "never look back."
It was at the BAFTA TV Awards that Comer admitted filming for a new series was to start this month. It will be broadcast by the BBC next year.
